Well, I think that's all, folks!

While I have a few things I could post, I've been progressing further and further from my original intention with this blog in a vain attempt to do the "one a day for a year" thing. It ain't gonna happen. I will leave you now with the last two, and most recent, fish knives from my collection. I'm now going to turn my attention to a new blog...DucksEatLamb. It's about an ancient strategy game that I recently uncovered, and I'm going to recreate the most famous DucksEatLamb game ever played (way back in 1932). I haven't started yet, but soon you'll be amazed!

Thanks for spending time with me and my assortment of stuff, and I hope you've enjoyed it!

It's Fossil Friday #11

Another purchased Knightia specimen. Oh, and thanks to the information provided by one kind commenter, next Friday, I will initiate a brief Fish Knife Friday redux! Thanks to Lisa Kadonaga of BC, Canada for turning me on to an online supplier of reasonably priced fish knives. More on that later...

Electric axe

This is my main electric guitar. It's a Yamaha Pacifica. The cat, of course, is none other than Flintlock himself, shooting his magic blue shit out of his claw. On the other hand, he's been de-clawed in the front, so where the blue shit comes from is beyond me...

A nice skully rattle

Tiki

Here's a Tiki that my buddy Kirk had made for me when he was visiting Fiji many years ago.

Still more paintings? Ugh!

This one's of the Crystal Wave, a walking beam side wheel steamer that used to ply the Delaware Bay. Acrylic on driftwood.

Balinese kite

This is a Giraffe/dragon/thingy kite from Bali. They used to be made from old ripped-up sails from boats and windsurfers and hand painted. This guy has flown once, in a rather lopsided fashion.
